POSITION SUMMARY: Accountable for the thorough investigation of both internal and external grievances, as well as performance management and disciplinary measures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct investigations and assessments of internal grievances, interviewing staff and reviewing video evidence as necessary.
- Manage external complaints, liaising with customers, interviewing staff, and reviewing video evidence as required.
- Implement disciplinary actions when warranted and provide performance guidance.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all complaints.
- Prepare bi-weekly reports for Directors' Meetings.
- Generate monthly reports for Board of Trustees meetings.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Metropolitan Tulsa Transit Authority's Policies, Procedures, and Union Agreements.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Regular and punctual attendance is mandatory.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Participate in relevant training and meetings as required.
Stay updated on Elerts software and related enhancements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge - An Associate's degree in a relevant field is preferred. Equivalent combinations of training and experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Exceptional communication, verbal, and written skills are essential. Ability to interact effectively with the public and colleagues both in person and via telephone is required. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is necessary. Must demonstrate excellent attendance and the ability to complete tasks promptly. A valid Oklahoma driver's license is required.
Mental Effort - The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently. Strong organizational skills are essential.
Physical Requirements - The position involves significant sitting, walking, and standing throughout the workday. Ability to lift or push up to 15 lbs. and store office supplies overhead is necessary. Must be capable of driving a company vehicle and using all MTTA and contractor transportation services.
Audible/Visual Demands - The role requires the ability to hear communications via video and telephone and to follow verbal instructions. Prolonged use of visual display terminals is expected, necessitating the ability to perform essential functions effectively.
Miscellaneous - Willingness to work evenings and weekends and travel as needed is required. Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. A commitment to safety and accident prevention is essential.
