Senior Animal Research Assistant

**Job Summary:**
Astrix Technology is seeking a highly skilled Senior Animal Research Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory animal handling team, you will be responsible for executing functional outcomes, supporting Animal Outcomes staff, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Study Protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute functional outcomes including open-field assessment, rotarod, grip strength, gait analysis, plethysmography, ECG, etc.
- Support Animal Outcomes staff in setting up and performing outcomes, including QCing and inputting data.
- Assist in ordering, and stocking inventory and perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.
- Document with strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Humanely and confidently handle rodents.
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelors degree, scientific field preferred.
- Experience in laboratory animal handling and restraint techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
