Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Leadership: Champion safety as a top priority, collaborating with the EHS Manager to uphold a safe working environment through comprehensive policies and programs.

  • Performance Management: Set and monitor staff performance and development goals, establish KPI improvement targets, and manage performance effectively.

Engineering Functions
  • Capital Budgeting: Prepare plant capital budgets, initiate projects, and manage engineering requests, estimates, and capital expenditures.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with internal and external resources to enhance machines, equipment, and facilities, aligning with plant goals and safety standards.
  • Equipment Management: Develop specifications, assist in selecting, purchasing, and installing production equipment.
  • Project Implementation: Oversee capital projects from inception to implementation, maintaining cost tracking and quarterly expenditure reports.
  • Project Scheduling: Develop and adhere to project schedules for equipment integration.
  • PM Pillar Leadership: Lead initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.
Maintenance Functions
  • Inventory Management: Monitor spare parts inventory, ensuring timely recommendations for obsolescence.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Schedule routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Facility Management: Oversee maintenance of grounds, buildings, and parking lots.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop a robust improvement program for the maintenance department.
  • Systems Management: Ensure security, fire, and emergency systems are operational and routinely tested.
  • Utilities Management: Track and monitor facility utilities, implementing energy-saving measures.
  • Work Order Scheduling: Coordinate internal maintenance work orders and liaise with external vendors as needed.
  • Safety Culture: Promote a strong safety culture, adhering to all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies.
  • Policy Enforcement: Facilitate and enforce all company policies and procedures.
