Pediatric Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Psychologist to join our team at the University of Texas at Austin's Dell Medical School. As a Pediatric Psychologist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive clinical services to children and adolescents, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough behavioral and mental health assessments to identify areas of need and develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to promote positive behavioral change and improve mental health outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including pediatricians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
- Develop and implement clinical programs and services to address the unique needs of children and adolescents.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of pediatric psychology and improve patient outcomes.
- Doctoral degree in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA or CPA accredited program.
- Completion of an APA or CPA accredited internship in psychology.
- Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical child and adolescent or pediatric psychology.
- Unrestricted license to practice psychology in the State of Texas or ability to obtain prior to appointment.
- Eligibility and commitment to pursue board certification through the American Board of Professional Psychology.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience providing clinical services via tele-mental health.
- Experience working in public school systems and community outreach.
- Clinical teaching experience.
