Position Overview

The Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Johnson Memorial Health Services (JMHS) plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the human resources strategy that aligns with the organization's overarching business objectives. This leadership position focuses on key areas such as talent acquisition, organizational development, performance enhancement, training initiatives, and comprehensive employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
• Formulate and execute human capital strategies that resonate with the organization's mission and long-term goals.
• Cultivate and maintain organizational capabilities that deliver exemplary programs fostering effective leadership, employee engagement, and compliance with legal standards.
• Oversee operational processes related to compensation, benefits, performance management, and recruitment, ensuring adherence to applicable laws.

Talent Management
• Spearhead talent development initiatives, organizational structuring, and succession planning to ensure a robust pipeline for critical roles.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators to drive operational excellence and assess the effectiveness of human resource functions.

Employee Relations
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention, addressing key concerns proactively.
• Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and maintain a fair and inclusive workplace culture.

Financial Oversight

Budget Management
• Responsible for the formulation and adherence to the annual budget for human resources.
• Analyze the financial implications of employee programs to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
