Key Responsibilities- Provide Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the health needs of patients, families, and communities.
- Supervise and Teach: Supervise and teach nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Manage Patient Flow: Manage patient flow, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed to ensure efficient care delivery.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
- Current RN License: Current license to practice nursing in the state.
- Experience: Minimum of six months of recent experience as a professional nurse.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities as needed.
- Prolonged Sitting and Standing: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, as well as standing, bending, and reaching.
- Lifting and Mobility: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times, with the ability to move quickly and efficiently around the hospital.
