Automation Systems Lead

LVI Associates is seeking an experienced Automation Systems Lead to join their team. As a key member of the engineering department, you will be responsible for leading the development of automation systems, including hardware specification, electrical wiring diagram development, and PLC programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of automation systems, including hardware specification and electrical wiring diagram development.
  • Develop, test, and support PLC programs onsite through production.
  • Conduct IO checks and provide operator training.
  • Mentor junior engineers and design control system networks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Expertise in Allen-Bradley PLC programming (RS Logix, Studio).
  • Experience with FactoryTalk or Ignition HMI development.
  • Familiarity with control system networks (Ethernet, IO Link, ControlNet).
  • 5+ years in industries like packaging, material handling, or automation.
  • Leadership experience in large capital projects.
