Unit Overview
We are looking for committed Registered Nurses to be part of our 13-bed Intensive Care Unit at a Level 3 Trauma Center. This unit emphasizes innovation, continuous improvement, and employee satisfaction to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include overseeing scheduling, staffing, infection control, and additional critical functions.
Role Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will deliver professional nursing care, applying principles of patient and family-centered care. Providing high-quality patient care under the guidance of the Nurse Leader is crucial.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing is mandatory
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required within five years
- Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License is essential
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification is necessary
- Specialty Certification is highly recommended within two years
Work Environment
This position is full-time, with night shifts available. The scheduled hours will be 36 per week, with shifts running from 7:00 P.M. to 7:30 A.M. Workdays will vary, and weekend shifts will occur every other weekend.
