Our hospital is home to The James and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center and the Cotton Family Birth Center.brbrbScope of Work/bbrbrThe RN, under the ANA scope of practice, utilizes the nursing process to provide professional care. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and discharging patients. Bachelors in Nursing are required within 5 years for new graduates or nurses with less than one year of experience. Graduates from non-accredited schools must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role. MI Registered Nurse (RN) and AHA, ARC, or Canadian Heart and Stroke Basic Life Support (BLS) are required. NRP and EFM Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification are required within one year. Specialty Certification is highly recommended within two years.
