Role Summary:
The Quality Systems Engineer 2 position encompasses a variety of skills aimed at ensuring that products are devoid of defects and operate as intended. The incumbent will engage in activities that guarantee high reliability and optimal performance in accordance with product specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the effective deployment of the Quality Management System across the organization, including all relevant quality accreditations.
  • Organize and manage the Internal Audit Program for the site.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of auditors in the capacity of 'Lead Auditor.'
  • Facilitate external audits.
  • Evaluate audit findings and determine appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assess current and future procedural requirements of the organization.
  • Maintain site procedural documentation and coordinate the distribution of these materials.
  • Support and implement other functional areas in alignment with Group Business Management Systems (GBMS) requirements.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
  • Compile quality data for monitoring performance targets.
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure adherence to processes and mitigate non-conformities related to products, processes, or systems.
  • Assist other functional areas with Quality Compliance requirements.
  • Manage the site Qpulse (Electronic Quality Management System) and provide assistance to other functional areas as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Regular exercise of independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
  • Consistent and punctual attendance is mandatory.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and additional hours as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Post-secondary degree in Engineering or a comparable combination of relevant education and experience that enables successful job performance.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a relevant field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of complex Quality Engineering processes and regulatory standards.
  • Strong ability to apply systematic and analytical problem-solving techniques.
  • Advanced understanding and application of core engineering principles.
  • Capability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend improvements for products, processes, or services.
  • Ability to convey complex technical information effectively.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to ensure task completion.
