Role Overview:

The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a crucial role in guaranteeing that products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This position involves a comprehensive understanding of quality systems and the ability to implement effective quality management practices.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the effective application of the Quality Management System across the organization, including necessary quality accreditations.
  • Manage and coordinate the Internal Audit Program.
  • Lead a cross-functional team as the Lead Auditor.
  • Facilitate external audits and analyze results to determine corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assess current and future procedural requirements of the organization.
  • Maintain procedural documentation and ensure proper distribution.
  • Support the implementation of Group Business Management Systems (GBMS) requirements.
  • Exercise independent judgment in significant matters.
  • Compile quality data to monitor performance targets.
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to prevent non-conformities related to products, processes, or systems.
  • Assist other departments with Quality Compliance needs.
  • Manage the Electronic Quality Management System (Qpulse) and provide assistance as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

Regular attendance is essential, and flexibility in working hours may be required.


Qualifications:
  • Education: A post-secondary degree in Engineering or a relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a related field.

Skills Required:
  • In-depth knowledge of complex Quality Engineering processes and regulatory standards.
  • Strong analytical and systematic problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced understanding of core engineering principles.
  • Capability to interpret business challenges and propose enhancements to products, processes, or services.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate task completion.

This position requires compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All candidates must be U.S. persons as defined by ITAR.
