Position Overview
The Quality Systems Engineer 2 role encompasses a broad spectrum of expertise aimed at ensuring that products are devoid of defects and operate as intended. The incumbent will engage in activities that guarantee high reliability and optimal performance according to product specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Facilitates the effective execution of the Quality Management System across the organization, including all relevant business quality certifications.
  2. Organizes and oversees the Internal Audit Program at the site.
  3. Leads a cross-functional team of auditors in the capacity of 'Lead Auditor'.
  4. Conducts external audits.
  5. Evaluates audit findings and formulates appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  6. Assesses the current and prospective procedural requirements of the organization.
  7. Maintains the procedural documentation and coordinates the distribution of these materials.
  8. Supports and enforces the requirements of the Group Business Management Systems (GBMS) applicable to the site.
  9. Regularly exercises independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
  10. Collects quality metrics for monitoring performance targets.
  11. Reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure adherence to processes and mitigate any non-conformities related to products, processes, or systems.
  12. Assists other departments with Quality Compliance requirements.
  13. Manages the Qpulse Electronic Quality Management System and provides assistance to other departments as necessary.
  14. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

Education: A post-secondary degree in Engineering or a comparable combination of relevant education and experience that will enable successful fulfillment of job responsibilities.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a related field.

  1. Comprehensive understanding of intricate Quality Engineering processes and regulatory standards.
  2. Exceptional capability to apply a systematic and analytical methodology to problem-solving.
  3. Advanced proficiency in core engineering principles.
  4. Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and propose enhancements to products, processes, or services.
  5. Capacity to convey a range of complex technical information effectively.
  6. Demonstrated analytical abilities to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  7. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to ensure task completion.
