Job Overview

Cision, a global leader in PR, marketing and social media management technology and intelligence, is seeking a skilled Business Development Specialist to join its team. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for developing consultative and strategic business relationships with clients utilizing our communications solutions.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in SaaS-based sales and a proven track record of success in closing deals and exceeding sales quotas. You will work closely with our product teams to understand client needs and match them with our products and services. Your primary goal will be to increase our value to clients while contributing to revenue and market share objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strong product demos weekly
  • Manage personal pipeline and effectively articulate progress to key sales goals
  • Represent company culture and values in all client conversations
  • Hit and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
Requirements
  • Completed undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university
  • Innate hunger, self-motivation and work ethic
  • Positivism and desire to uplift and share knowledge with those around you
  • Stellar communication skills both over the phone and in writing
  • Past examples of sales excellence and crushing quotas
