POSITION OVERVIEW


The Room Care Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring guest rooms are impeccably maintained and that guest requests are addressed promptly, contributing to the hotel's mission of providing outstanding service.


CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Prior experience in housekeeping is highly desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure a clean, safe, and well-kept guest room for all visitors of the establishment.
  • Thoroughly sanitize guest rooms as assigned, which includes, but is not limited to, making beds, cleaning restrooms, dusting, and vacuuming to the brand's standards.
  • Dispose of waste and recyclables appropriately.
  • Conduct deep cleaning tasks as required.
  • Gather necessary supplies, equipment, and amenities daily.
  • Respond to guest inquiries in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Seek assistance to support guests when necessary.
  • Manage guest requests, questions, and complaints promptly and comprehensively. Ensure follow-up with guests is conducted in a timely manner to uphold a high level of guest satisfaction and service quality. In cases of dissatisfaction, negotiate a resolution in line with established guidelines.
  • Adhere to proper safety protocols and procedures, utilizing safety equipment as necessary to ensure the well-being of all team members during each shift. Report all incidents and injuries promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and clear work area, free of standing water, debris, or any items that could hinder job performance safely and effectively.
  • Perform any other job-related tasks as assigned.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and guests.
  • Able to comprehend and adhere to all safety-related procedures while executing tasks.
  • Regular attendance in accordance with the standards is critical for successful performance in this role.
  • Comply with attendance policies and be available to work consistently. Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this position, the role frequently requires standing and walking for the duration of the shift, as well as performing repetitive motions, bending, stretching, reaching, stooping, and pushing weights of 20-30 pounds.


Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to meet the business needs of the hotel.

Additionally, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is mandatory.
