Job SummaryThe Revenue Tax Auditor Trainee will be responsible for conducting field audits of taxpayers to determine compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This will involve gathering preliminary information, contacting taxpayers to schedule audits, examining and analyzing financial records, and assisting in the post-audit conference.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct field audits of taxpayers to determine compliance with applicable laws and regulations

- Assist in the post-audit conference
- Travel throughout the Commonwealth and may also include travel out-of-state for periods of time up to two weeks
- Bachelor's degree that includes 15 college credits in accounting, tax, or auditing
- Equivalent combination of experience and training that includes 15 college credits in accounting, tax, or auditing
- Ability to perform essential job functions
