Job Title: Director of Technical Accounting and Investments

At Prime Therapeutics, we're committed to delivering exceptional healthcare solutions. As our Director of Technical Accounting and Investments, you'll play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the research and development of technical accounting matters, including position papers and policies on accounting and financial consequences of unique transactions and emerging standards.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Financial Reporting and Controller to review and finalize conclusions, as well as with external auditors to ensure compliance.
  • Manage the accounting and reporting associated with strategic investments, statutory regulatory entities, and captive insurance.
  • Lead the General Accounting and Financial Reporting functions related to equity method investments, consolidating entities, statutory insurance companies, charitable foundation, and captive insurance.
  • Monitor internal controls over financial reporting and lead the successful completion of internal and external audits.
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis and reporting to Prime management on equity method investments, consolidating entities, statutory insurance companies, charitable foundation, and captive insurance.
  • Lead, coach, and manage team members to deliver on departmental goals, coordinate workload, ensure quality, establish procedures, meet client/customer expectations, and manage costs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • CPA certification.
  • 8 years of work experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5 years of management/people leadership experience focusing on coaching and developing the team.
  • Ability to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading large teams.
  • 4 years of public accounting experience and experience leading an accounting department.
  • Previous supervisory/management experience, ideally in a high growth environment.
  • Experience working with all levels of management and consulting with key business stakeholders, with an ability to influence for greater outcomes.
  • Proven ability and desire to build and lead an effective, high performing team.
  • PBM/Healthcare industry experience.
  • Statutory reporting and Captive insurance experience.
Benefits:

Prime Therapeutics offers a competitive salary range of $125,200.00 - $200,000.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
