Key Responsibilities- Handles laboratory data collection systems and equipment to ensure accurate and efficient test ordering and charging.
- Performs specimen collection procedures for inpatients and outpatients, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Processes and prepares specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring timely and accurate results.
- Coordinates with laboratory staff to ensure smooth specimen handling and processing.
- Maintains accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus relevant clinical training or experience in phlebotomy or laboratory settings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Ability to lift and move specimens, with sufficient feeling in fingers and visual ability to locate patients' blood vessels.
- Color vision acuity required to safely perform duties.
- Phlebotomy certification or relevant laboratory experience.
- Knowledge of medical laboratory terminology and computer systems.
- Public relations skills and service delivery training.
Monday to Wednesday: 3:00 AM - 3:30 PM
No weekend or on-call requirements.
