Role Summary:
The Sustainment Integrated Logistics Support Lead plays a crucial role in our organization, focusing on the development and execution of sustainment strategies for various platforms and systems. This position involves collaboration with a diverse team to enhance operational readiness and support strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee contract management, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, performance metrics, and risk assessments.
- Conduct Estimate At Completion (EAC) evaluations to maintain financial integrity.
- Manage reporting requirements for financial and contract deliverables.
- Supervise Government Finished Property (GFP) inventory processes.
- Provide support for field operations and maintenance activities.
- Facilitate organic and international depot-level maintenance efforts.
- Lead shared product management initiatives.
- Deliver engineering, reliability, and logistics services.
- Implement full product lifecycle surveillance and planning for life extension.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in product support and services.
- Prepare and present briefings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for sustainable operational readiness.
Travel Requirements:
This role may involve up to 30% travel, both domestically and internationally.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Sustainment, Logistics, Program Management, or Engineering.
- Proficiency in Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Possession of an active U.S. government security clearance is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in managing diverse teams in logistics and sustainment operations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong track record in building customer relationships to fulfill contractual obligations.
- Military background in Weapons, Munitions, or Maintenance is advantageous.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management processes.
- Top Secret Clearance is a plus.
