Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Dukes Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care procedures.
  • Set up and administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients in various hospital departments.
  • Operate acute care ventilators for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation of adults, pediatrics, and neonates.
  • Transcribe and implement physician orders related to respiratory care.
  • Assess and monitor patient responses to respiratory care treatments and diagnostic testing.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Approved Respiratory Therapy Program (CRT/RRT).
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • National (NBRC) certification and Indiana RCP license.
  • BLS required within 30 days, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
