Job Responsibilities

We are seeking part-time Coffee Artisans to enhance our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for taking customer orders, expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and offering select food items. You will also engage with customers, providing insights into our menu and making personalized recommendations.

  • Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including coffee, blended drinks, and tea, while customizing orders as per customer requests.
  • Provide detailed product information to customers when needed.
  • Process customer payments accurately.
  • Serve a selection of baked goods and light meals.
  • Maintain well-stocked service stations with necessary supplies.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and work areas.
  • Regularly check and maintain the functionality of kitchen equipment.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple orders and remember customer preferences.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a barista or food service role is advantageous.
  • Training in food preparation and customer service is beneficial.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
  • Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
