About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at AnMed. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing patients and patient care areas for examinations and office procedures.
  • Assisting healthcare providers with direct patient care, including taking vitals, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current SC LPN license or Medical Assistant certification by either AAMA, NHA, AMT or NCCT.
  • Graduation from a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by the National Healthcare Association, or its successor; by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, or its successor; by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, or its successor; or by any accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education.
  • Computer proficiency and experience with electronic health record systems, preferably Epic.
  • A minimum of two (2) years clinical experience preferred.
