Job Description

AnMed seeks a skilled Clinical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients and patient care areas are prepared for examinations and office procedures.

The ideal candidate will assist providers with all aspects of direct patient care, performing various tasks involved in patient care while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.

Bachelor's degree in Medical Assisting or related field not required but Current SC LPN license OR Medical Assistant certification by either AAMA, NHA, AMT or NCCT is mandatory. Candidates must be graduates of a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by the National Healthcare Association, or its successor; by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, or its successor; by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, or its successor; or by any accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education.

A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, as well as proficiency in computer skills, particularly electronic health records (Epic).

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients and patient care areas for examinations and office procedures
  • Assist providers with direct patient care
  • Perform procedures and tasks involved in patient care
Qualifications
  • Current SC LPN license OR Medical Assistant certification by either AAMA, NHA, AMT or NCCT
  • Graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by the National Healthcare Association, or its successor
  • Minimum of two years clinical experience preferred
  • Computer proficiency, especially electronic health record systems
Compensation

$45,000 - $60,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
