Roofing Estimator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Estimator to join our team at Ecruit. As a key member of our commercial construction team, you will be responsible for procuring projects and ensuring their profitable completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue commercial new construction and renovation projects, focusing on all types of roofing.
  • Compile detailed takeoffs from plans and specifications for labor, materials, equipment, and other costs.
  • Establish relationships with manufacturers and subcontractors to assemble pricing for proposals.
  • Develop and present proposals to owner, contractor, and developer clients.
  • Hand off projects to the project management team and communicate with field managers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Collaborate with the team to create material orders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial roofing estimating.
  • Knowledge of various roofing types and ability to work on reroof and new construction projects.
  • Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities.
  • Good work ethic and ability to build relationships with clients in the central Mid-Atlantic region.
