Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Estimator to join our team at Building Envelope Construction Co.

The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring projects, managing job sites, and developing relationships with general contractors, owners, consultants, and developers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough analysis of potential projects to identify opportunities for bidding and developing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Performing material and labor takeoff from electronic and paper project documents and site visits, and identifying needs for subcontractors and developing a labor plan to perform the work and calculate requisite costs.
  • Researching building systems, manufacturers, distributors, and subcontractors to identify exact needs and pricing of project requirements.
  • Compiling comprehensive price proposals and scopes of work to present to clients.
  • Directing support staff to create accurate submittal packages and working with vendors to obtain required construction elements.
  • Coordinating with field superintendents to communicate project vision and specifications.
