We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Technician to join our team. As a Security Technician, you will be responsible for installing, programming, and testing security systems, as well as providing technical support and training to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and program security systems, including fire alarm and life safety systems
  • Test and troubleshoot security systems to ensure proper operation
  • Provide technical support and training to customers on security systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine installation procedures
  • Operate systems to demonstrate equipment, commission new systems, and analyze performance
  • Write programs for security systems and perform certification testing
  • Consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation, maintenance, and warranty work
  • May advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, installation techniques, and standards
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance
  • Product-specific certifications, industry-specific certifications, and/or licenses
  • Strong technical skills and experience with fire alarm and electronic security systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain awareness of customer needs
