Job Description:
As an Assembly Operations Technician at L3Harris, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations. This may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. You will comprehend and interpret technical specifications, terms, and documents to determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
Key responsibilities include making setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications, visually inspecting components and subassemblies for obvious defects, and checking completed assemblies for conformance with quality standards and DMs. You will also maintain assembly/quality records paperwork as required.
Requirements include a High School Diploma or Equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience. Ability to obtain Security Clearance if required. Preferred skills include experience with precision measurement tools and blueprint reading, as well as experience in a manufacturing assembly environment.
