YOUR ROLE IN FIELD OPERATIONS
As a Senior Field Technician, you will engage with some of our most significant clients, including governmental bodies, educational institutions, large enterprises, and other service providers. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will enable you to cultivate strong relationships with these clients, ensuring seamless installation and service delivery.

Additionally, you will collaborate with various departments and provide essential remote support for Enterprise Engineering at client sites and data centers.

This position primarily operates indoors within a dynamic environment, often in multi-tenant buildings across diverse locations. Participation in a mandatory on-call rotation is required.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience:
Proven background in intricate structured cabling projects, including the installation of Cat5/Cat6 cabling, as well as programming and setting up routers, Internet gateway services, Layer 2/3 Ethernet switches, and wireless access points in commercial settings. A minimum of 3 years in IP networking and 1 year in Field Technician roles IV/V is preferred. Experience with WAN/LAN installations and repairs, along with completion of relevant training programs, is essential.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in troubleshooting, engineering, and SONET/Ethernet transport.

Knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of the TCP/IP stack, network designs, architectures, and topologies, along with basic software tools for operational support.

Skills:
Effective communication, strong organizational abilities, and collaboration.

Abilities:
Ability to communicate clearly in English, utilize hand tools safely, navigate various terrains while carrying equipment, and operate specialized testing equipment.

A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in project management is advantageous.
