Position: Lead Consultant, Platform Solutions
In this role, you will act as a technical authority and subject matter expert for our network of partners, clients, and service providers in the domain of Modern Applications and Platform Solutions. The Lead Consultant will spearhead engagements, designing, developing, and implementing intricate solutions. You will also mentor and guide engineers on various projects and contribute to internal initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement sophisticated enterprise-level technical solutions for clients.
- Engage in hands-on coding of API and CI/CD components.
- Produce high-quality deliverables and presentations for client engineering teams and senior management.
- Conceive and present innovative solution ideas to senior leadership.
- Serve as a strategic liaison, effectively aligning technical solutions with business objectives.
- Establish project estimates and plans, identify risks and mitigation strategies, and oversee the development and delivery of technical solutions.
- Mentor and support project team members.
- Lead collaboration within our technical communities.
- Proven ability to facilitate solution development in front of clients.
- Strong knowledge of modern cloud-native application design principles, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD Pipelines, Microservices, and Containers.
- Hands-on programming experience in Java, Python, or other languages.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- 6+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 3 years in Cloud, DevOps, Automation, Application Modernization, and Digital Transformation.
- Experience in designing and implementing core platform services across Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, Containers, Security, and Identity.
- Possession of multiple certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Pro, AWS DevOps Engineer Pro, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Terraform Associate, etc.
- Familiarity with organizational adoption of transformational initiatives including Platform Engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Transformation, and Application Modernization.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, ARM, and CloudFormation.
- Experience managing deployment services like Harness, GitHub, Ansible, Jenkins, with knowledge of branching strategies.
- Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux virtualized operating systems.
