Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and streamline loan processes to facilitate approval.
  • Administer and monitor 30+ day delinquencies, risk rating processes, and identify red flags or problems within the portfolio.
  • Conduct analysis and underwriting functions as needed.
  • Monitor exception, covenant, and delinquent reports on a weekly basis.
  • Review future maturities for timely disposition.
  • Conduct annual reviews of existing credit relationships and recommend changes in risk rating as deemed appropriate.
  • Provide support on new business activities by screening preliminary data and obtaining required documentation.
  • Identify, track, and monitor loan policy exceptions, review credits with loan covenants, and verify compliance.
  • Coordinate delinquent loan monitoring of assigned portfolios and recommend appropriate action.
  • Conduct project site visits and inspections.
  • Attend seminars and training sessions to stay up-to-date with changing regulations, industry trends, and market conditions.
  • Provide assistance in other areas within the department as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or 9 years of portfolio management experience in lieu of education.
  • Formal credit training required.
  • Eight years of professional experience in lending, credit analysis, and underwriting of loans.
  • Knowledge of Bank documentation and other Bank products.
Preferred Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of the Bank's credit procedures, programs, and policy.
  • Accounting and credit principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience with Salesforce, nCino, and FIS IBS is a plus.
