About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Sourcing Analyst to oversee supplier readiness growth within our newest manufacturing facility located in the southeastern United States. This position will be the sourcing project lead collaborating with other functional areas including: supplier relationship, operations, supply chain, category leads/suppliers, and finance to strategically onboard supply partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Performance of Suppliers: Drive continuous improvement of suppliers to support site readiness.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Ensure smooth execution of projects and sourcing initiatives.
  • Develop and Execute Supplier Onboarding: Through manufacturing start up, develop and execute supplier onboarding and readiness.
  • Partner with Design Engineering: Aid with upfront design simplification, and support new technology and design needs, as well as lead technical reviews with suppliers.
  • Establish and Own Material Cost Targets: For all supported projects.
  • Develop Supplier Base: Handle supplier escalations to support manufacturing.
  • Work with Sourcing Category Teams: On bid list creation, supplier selection, and supplier readiness for production.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Become the subject matter expert of the Product Development Process, related to Sourcing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: In supply chain/operations, business, engineering, or related degree is required.
  • Relevant Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, product development, supply chain, or operations.
  • Project Management Experience: With the ability to create project plans, manage schedules, adapt resources, and achieve project deliverables.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized and able to independently pursue concurrent resolution of multiple issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success collaboratively leading and motivating others.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Solid understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge and/or previous fenestration product experience is a plus.
