Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality support for new product lines, including qualifying supplied parts, measuring parts produced by fabrication or assembly equipment, and analyzing measurement data.
  • Conduct Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility studies (GR&R) and procure measurement gages through the expense and/or capital expenditure processes.
  • Create Control Plans and Work Instruction documentation and conduct training.
  • Transform data from various sources into usable information for engineer/leader decision-making.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-5 years of related work experience in quality required, 6-8 years desired.
  • Working knowledge of measurement tools and systems.
  • Experience in the area of document creation, control, and training.
  • Usage of computer software tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Minitab, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of statistics, including capability studies and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and standards and convert into manufacturing control plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced agile environment.
