Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Storm2, a leading crypto embedded finance player, is scaling its SRE team to support the growth of its financial platform. We're seeking an experienced Azure specialist to join our team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Design: Design and implement scalable and highly available infrastructure for our financial platform.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to establish and maintain reliability standards.
  • Monitoring & Performance: Monitor system health, identify issues, and ensure high uptime and performance.
  • Automation: Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Terraform and other tools.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident response, conduct reviews, and implement preventative measures to minimize downtime.
  • Playbook Design: Create incident response procedures to handle incidents effectively and efficiently.
  • System Reliability: Enhance system reliability through testing, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and support SRE team growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years in an SRE or similar role, preferably in fintech or crypto.
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in Python, Go, Java, or C#, with a focus on automation and scripting.
  • Cloud Expertise: Deep experience with Azure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure DevOps.
  • Containerization: Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Observability Tools: Experience with DataDog for system monitoring and logging.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Proficient in Terraform or similar tools for infrastructure automation.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Skilled with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and troubleshooting complex issues.
