Position Summary: We are seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee the sales and marketing strategies of our leasing department, ensuring optimal occupancy levels within our community. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service to residents, manage the leasing processes, and uphold the property’s reputation.
Property Details: The Quarters at Lincoln is a distinctive housing community designed specifically for University of Nebraska-Lincoln students, featuring 157 units and 590 beds.
Compensation: The salary for this role ranges from $43,000, based on experience and skills, with additional bonus opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Embody and promote Tailwind Group's core values: Entrepreneurial, Versatile, Responsive, Innovative, and Integrity.
- Lead the property team to achieve and maintain a minimum occupancy rate of 95% annually.
- Implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue while adhering to budget constraints.
- Serve as the primary salesperson by conducting property tours, addressing leasing inquiries, and following up with prospective residents.
- Train and mentor Leasing Specialists and Community Assistants to fulfill responsibilities in the Leasing Manager's absence.
- Provide outstanding customer service in all interactions with residents, prospects, vendors, and community members.
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives on campus and within the community, including customer appreciation events.
- Stay informed about current market trends, conditions, and local competitors.
- Manage all administrative tasks, inventory, and reporting related to the leasing department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in student housing.
- Experience in property management, student housing, or sales/marketing is advantageous.
Skills and Abilities:
- Exhibit a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Possess strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
- Be self-motivated and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Understand fundamental property management standards, including Fair Housing laws and Tenant/Landlord rights.
- Familiarity with Entrata software is preferred.
