Position Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the Residential Property Management team to ensure operational excellence with a focus on profitability. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Marketing and leasing activities.
  • Managing occupancy rates and collections.
  • Overseeing property maintenance and enhancing curb appeal.
  • Fostering resident relations and retention.

Specific Duties Include:

Leasing Responsibilities:

  • Follow company leasing procedures and guidelines.
  • Respond professionally to all inquiries from potential residents via various communication channels.
  • Organize and conduct property tours for interested prospects.
  • Accurately input prospect data and tour details into Yardi.
  • Manage follow-up communications effectively.
  • Facilitate resident screening processes.
  • Review and approve prospect applications based on established criteria.
  • Prepare and execute lease documentation.
  • Ensure apartments are ready for showings and move-ins.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings.
  • Achieve personal and property leasing targets consistently.
  • Resolve Yardi workflow issues as they arise.

Resident Management:

  • Conduct resident move-in orientations and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents through effective communication.

Marketing and Retention:

  • Set up model units in applicable buildings.
  • Provide updates to the Property Manager and residents as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness in amenity areas.
  • Open and close the leasing office during scheduled hours.
  • Engage in outreach marketing initiatives as directed.
  • Keep social media accounts updated with relevant content.
  • Participate in marketing events outside of regular hours.
  • Continuously seek process improvements and productivity enhancements.
  • Embody and promote Speedway Motors' core values.
  • Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • Familiarity with YARDI and Rent Café is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance.
  • Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn about all aspects of Residential Property Management.
  • Basic understanding of business and accounting principles.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week in the office.
