Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CMA or RMA to join our team as a Clinical Assistant in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examinations and procedures according to physician preferences.
  • Record vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, height, weight, etc.
  • Perform various medical procedures, such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, etc.
  • Assist physicians with procedures, administer medications, and conduct patient education.
  • Handle phone nursing tasks, including triaging, pre-certs, referrals, calling in prescriptions, etc.
  • Perform clerical duties necessary for efficient patient flow; contact patients regarding test results or other related reasons as directed.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional vocational or college credits preferred.
  • Medical Assistant Certification required.
  • Six months of phlebotomy and clinical experience required.
