Community Service Supervisor

The Mediation Center of Eastern Carolina is in search of a committed contractor to assist our Community Service/Restitution Program, focusing primarily on Craven County.
We seek an individual with substantial experience in supporting at-risk youth, who is organized, professional, and adept at working both independently and as part of a team.
Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with at-risk youth.
- Availability to work two Saturdays each month and weekday evenings from 4 PM to 7 PM.
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks that illustrate the duties required of youth on work sites.
- Passion for engaging with youth aged 6-17, with the ability to supervise, mentor, and inspire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise work sites to ensure youth complete assigned tasks.
- Instruct, demonstrate, and guide youth on task execution.
- Assist youth in fulfilling their community service obligations.
- Establish and nurture positive relationships with professionals.
- Maintain case files for youth participants.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to update documents and databases.
- Keep accurate records for each work site, including attendance and hours worked by each youth.
- Provide supervision, instruction, and constructive feedback to youth at work sites.
- Collaborate effectively with the program supervisor.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Associate Director and/or Program Coordinators.
