Account Manager

The Account Manager oversees a number of customer accounts, including activities of employees engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of office buildings, or other commercial or institutional buildings.
This position manages multiple job sites within the assigned region, ensuring all company standards and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
The Account Manager is responsible for strategic account development, budget and financial compliance, and overseeing site management project teams and site personnel.
Key responsibilities include daily operations, performing routine facility inspections, driving site safety policy, interviewing and hiring new employees, and resolving and responding to employee and customer issues.
The Account Manager must possess strong supervisory skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work well with ever-changing priorities and situations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure all company standards and KPIs are met
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive growth and revenue
- Manage budgets and financials to ensure compliance and profitability
- Oversee site management project teams and site personnel to ensure effective execution of cleaning and maintenance services
- Perform routine facility inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Drive site safety policy and ensure all employees are trained and equipped to perform their duties safely
- Interview, hire, and train new employees to ensure a high-performing team
- Resolve and respond to employee and customer issues in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of supervisory/management experience or degree from a 4-year college or 2-year technical institute
- Associates degree with technical training in plant engineering or factory/plant maintenance, or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance field, with two years holding a supervisory position directing a multi-functional maintenance staff
- Strong mechanical aptitudes and working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Excellent trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly
- Familiarity with all current health and safety regulations
- Strong supervisory skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with ever-changing priorities and situations
Working Conditions:
The Account Manager will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with frequent travel to multiple job sites within the assigned region.
The position requires the ability to work in a variety of settings, including office buildings, commercial and institutional buildings, and outdoor environments.
The Account Manager must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
Salary: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 Annually
