Job Summary:

Meta is seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Manager to lead the development and management of our internal tools and systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing our telecom OSS/BSS systems, driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and drive the systems strategy, vision, and roadmap for internal tools and features.
Collaborate with Business Owners and Engineering Owners to align product priorities with business goals.
Lead cross-functional teams in a product management capacity, inspiring and guiding teams to achieve product excellence and drive innovation.
Possess a deep understanding of wireline telecom technologies (L1-L3 including Fiber, IP and Optical), expertise in building OSS/BSS systems, their architecture, and their role in ensuring efficient operations.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Lead the end-to-end product development process, including requirement gathering, design, development, UAT, and deployment of all new systems and features.
Drive the creation of high-quality features that meet user needs and exceed expectations.
Work closely with planning, IP, Optical, Engineering, and Operations to ensure seamless and timely execution of the product roadmap.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages effective communication and problem-solving.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of hands-on experience within the telecom industry.
5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Systems Owner with a knowledge of telecom OSS/BSS tools.
3+ years of experience designing analytics products, solving problems using data and providing business insights.
Track record of successfully managing complex tools/systems from conception to launch.
Experience to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable product requirements.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies and product management tools.
Data-driven mindset with the experience to analyze metrics and make data-backed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in computer science, engineering, network infrastructure technologies, along with a strong aptitude for knowledge of complex technical systems.
Proficiency in telecom technologies, OSS/BSS tools and associated architectures.
Possession of an MBA or Master's in a relevant field.
Proven experience to deeply understand customer needs and translate them into innovative and user-friendly product solutions.
Strong knowledge and experience following SDLC to ensure timely delivery of features.
Experience within the telecom industry preferably with focus on wireline infrastructure.

Compensation:

$133,000/year to $190,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
