Job Summary

PMAT is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator (Networks) to support the development and maintenance of advanced DoD tactical information systems. This role will involve working with a team of experienced engineers to design, implement, and sustain secure, high-performance systems at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate existing and new capabilities into operationally fielded systems on various operational platforms and watch floors.
  • Provide support for all stages of the software, hardware, and network engineering, including design, implementation, installation, integration, test, and sustainment.
  • Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems per DoD direction.
  • Conduct on-demand vulnerability scans utilizing Nessus Manager (or equivalent tools) and mitigate vulnerabilities per DoD direction.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance required and must be willing to complete Polygraph as required by the customer.
  • Required Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, Linux+, VMware Certified Professional, or equivalent are preferred but not required.

Technical Skills

  • LINUX/UNIX command line interface (CLI) system administration expertise.
  • CISCO networking experience, including creation, implementation, and management of L2/L3 switching/routing configurations.
  • Ability to perform high-level error debugging of the graphic user interface by examining application logs and xml-based configurations.
