We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Psychology to join our faculty pool at the University of North Texas at Dallas. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of undergraduate Psychology courses, including Introduction to Psychology, Personality Psychology, Statistics in Psychology, Research Methods, Social Psychology, Careers in Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Introduction to Learning and Memory, and Neuroscience courses, among others.
Responsibilities- Plan and implement courses, including developing syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Teach undergraduate Psychology courses, including lectures, discussions, and laboratory sessions.
- Evaluate student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students.
- Develop and maintain a course website, including course materials, assignments, and grades.
- Participate in departmental and university-wide activities, including committee work and professional development.
- Master's degree in Psychology with at least 18 graduate hours in Psychology.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing courses in Psychology.
- Experience teaching and developing courses in university contexts, in both face-to-face and online modalities.
- Ph.D. in Psychology with significant experience in higher education.
- Successful experience teaching adults in a post-secondary institution.
- Excellent communication skills in multicultural settings.
