Role Summary:

The Housekeeper is tasked with ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of vacant apartment units, as well as common areas including models, offices, clubhouses, laundry facilities, and fitness centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate the state of apartments and areas designated for cleaning on a weekly basis, reporting any supply needs to the Property Manager.
  2. Thoroughly clean all surfaces, including fixtures, countertops, cabinets, windows, ovens, bathrooms, blinds, floors, and appliances, ensuring no area is overlooked.
  3. Submit a completion report (checklist) to the Property Manager after each cleaning task.
  4. Perform touch-up cleaning on vacant units as required.
  5. Maintain daily cleanliness of models, offices, clubhouses, laundry rooms, and fitness centers.
  6. Ensure the office area is tidy by managing trash disposal, vacuuming, window cleaning, and dusting surfaces.
  7. Keep the clubhouse refrigerator, cabinets, and janitor closets organized and clean.
  8. Mop clubhouse floors as necessary.
  9. Maintain cleanliness of all windows and doors.
  10. Ensure all vents are free from dust and debris.
  11. Prepare and stock coffee for daily use.
  12. Complete all job-related tasks as assigned by the Property Manager.
  13. Some properties may require additional responsibilities, such as cleaning and changing dishes, linens, and soaps in Corporate Suites.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of six months of experience in residential or apartment cleaning.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the Property Manager through written and verbal instructions.
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, and understanding English for business purposes.
  • Capability to read and write instructions, short correspondence, and memos, while interacting professionally with residents, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, including criminal record search, employment verification, and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Capability to lift heavy objects up to 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
