Job Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Mendon in Rochester, NY, with flexibility for some remote work. The Senior Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for back-end web development, front-end development, software development, and full-stack development tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain back-end web applications using cloud architecture and integration with 3rd party software.
  • Design and implement front-end user interfaces using modern tech-stack and responsive web applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and maintain software applications using full-stack development expertise.
Requirements
  • Ten (10) plus years of experience in software development and cloud architecture.
  • Significant experience in developing SaaS platforms and solid understanding of cloud architecture, integration with 3rd party software, APIs to retrieve data from various sources, data-engineering, and modern tech-stack.
  • Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills.
  • Front-End Development and CSS skills.
  • Experience in creating responsive web applications.
  • Full-Stack Development expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently but collaborate with stakeholders and other team members.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Five-plus domain expertise in Food Supply Chain (Procurement) - working at companies like USFood, Sysco, Compass, or software companies in this domain.
  • Experience in various standards in the retail/consumer goods supply chain (GS1/GDSN) and related e-commerce.
  • Must be a green card holder or a US citizen.
