The Senior Claims Adjuster - Workers Compensation will be responsible for investigating, negotiating, and resolving workers compensation claims in accordance with policy provisions, best practices, and jurisdictional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and analyze claims to determine liability and extent of damages
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants and their representatives
  • Develop and implement strategies to resolve complex claims
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and fair resolution of claims
  • Stay up-to-date with changing laws and regulations affecting workers compensation claims
  • Develop and maintain relationships with claimants, agents, and other stakeholders
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with claimants and internal stakeholders
  • Meet productivity and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in workers compensation claims adjusting
  • Strong knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in claims handling software and systems
