Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center's Primary Care Clinic in Hopkinsville, KY. As an LPN, you will work closely with our clinicians to evaluate patient reasons for visit and provide goal-focused, individualized care to pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with patients and families, and proactively identifying their needs.
  • Assist with routine office procedures, collect lab specimens, and maintain patient charts and other documents within the electronic health record.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain efficient and effective clinic flow, and ensure cleanliness of exam rooms and equipment.
  • Participate in staff meetings, develop and achieve personal and professional goals, and contribute to the achievement of VIP goals.
  • Perform lab duties, including analysis of specimens, evaluation of results, and maintenance of laboratory compliance.
Requirements
  • LIC-Licensed Practical Nurse - Tennessee
  • 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program
