IT Program Manager

MBL Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to lead and manage IT programs and projects across various sizes and complexities, ensuring alignment with the agency's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage IT programs and projects, overseeing the full systems development life cycle (SDLC), from planning and design to implementation and maintenance.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with project delivery, developing and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Apply Agile and Kanban methodologies to optimize workflow, improve team productivity, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations on project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management experience with both small and large IT projects in support of government agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of IT projects.
- Extensive experience with full systems development life cycle (SDLC), enterprise wide network engineering, strategic information planning, business process reengineering, structure, and management practices.
- Experience in tracking and managing costs, schedule, and performance progress.
- Demonstrated success as a PM for cyber security projects.
- Demonstrated success in agile development, specifically, Lean and/or Kanban.
- Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related scientific / technical discipline.
- 15 years of experience with IT project management within a federal agency.
- Possess and maintain a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, including all continuing education credits.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams.
