Join Our Team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the PACU

At Methodist Hospital Northeast, we recognize the essential role our nurses play in delivering exceptional patient care. We are currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure the delivery of superior patient care during designated shifts.
  • Collaborate with management to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing practices in line with established protocols.
  • Serve as a resource for nursing staff, embodying the organization’s vision and values.
  • Facilitate efficient admission and discharge processes to enhance patient flow.
  • Engage in ongoing assessments of care quality, working alongside management to improve service delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes teamwork and positive patient outcomes.
  • Support nursing strategies aimed at enhancing staff engagement and patient satisfaction.
  • Assist in staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a high standard of care.
  • Manage staff scheduling and labor resources in accordance with patient care needs.
  • Oversee inventory control and the management of medical supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree from an accredited nursing program (diploma, associate, or baccalaureate).
  • A valid Registered Nurse License in Texas or an Active Multi-State RN Compact License.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
  • A minimum of two years of healthcare experience; a BSN and three years of experience are preferred.
