Role Overview
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and overseeing all functions within the unit during designated shifts. This role involves collaboration with management to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in alignment with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will:

  • Assist with patient admissions and discharges to ensure efficient care delivery.
  • Participate in the assessment of patient care quality and collaborate with management.
  • Foster teamwork among staff to enhance patient outcomes and service quality.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery as needed.
  • Contribute to staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
  • Manage staff scheduling and ensure compliance with productivity guidelines.
  • Oversee inventory control and assist with supply management.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • A valid Registered Nurse license in Texas or a Compact State.
  • A diploma, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Oncology or Medical Surgical Tele/Ortho acute care nursing.
  • Preferred experience as a Charge Nurse or Nurse Supervisor in an acute care setting.
