Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and participate in safety meetings with customers and within the company.
  • Provide recommendations based on safety observations and data to foster a culture dedicated to ongoing improvements.
  • Manage and address claims related to workers' compensation, general liability, and similar issues as they arise.
  • Ensure timely reporting and evaluation of accident and incident processes, including conducting root cause analyses, communicating with employees and healthcare providers, and coordinating employee return-to-work efforts.
  • Perform both unexpected and scheduled safety inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA standards, relevant federal and state regulations, and company procedures.
  • Complete necessary safety training programs, such as New Hire Orientation, OSHA 10 training, and drug testing.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and safety regulations through ongoing education.
