Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team at the Waterfall Community Health Center. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field, and a minimum of 3 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Job Responsibilities

  • Clinical Services: Provide comprehensive ABA services, including assessments, treatment planning, and implementation, as well as ongoing supervision and consultation with parents and caregivers.
  • Case Management: Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans, ensuring continuity of care and coordination with other healthcare professionals.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support services for clients with ASD.
  • Education and Training: Deliver training and education to parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals on evidence-based practices and best practices in ABA.
  • Communication and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and communicate effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Maintain compliance with credentialing requirements, including active licensure as a clinician and ability to be credentialed with Medicaid, private insurance, and other applicable funding sources.
  • Demonstrate solid working knowledge of the foundations and applications of Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Succinctly complete all federal, state, and local background checks and sex offender searches.
