Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Oncology Nurse Specialist to join our team at Della Infotech in Coos Bay, OR. The successful candidate will have recent acute care hospital experience and be able to provide high-quality patient care.

About the Role

This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Teach patients and their families about their condition and treatment options
  • Document patient care in the medical record accurately and efficiently
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current Registered Nurse license in Oregon
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification
  • Chemo/Biotherapy card and competency validation or ability to obtain within one year
  • National certification in oncology nursing or intravenous therapy (preferred)
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with possible weekend requirements and on-call shifts. You will work in a fast-paced environment where your critical thinking and problem-solving skills will be essential.
